Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I know, it's been a long time since I've posted pictures of our little princess. Kim went back to work and Jared is "stay at home daddy" for two weeks. He's loving spending all day with Baizley. They play and play all day long.
Baizley is now three months old! She has grown so much and is learning lots of new things. She is still quite the talker. We love the ooohs, ahhhs, gooos and cooos. It's lots of fun having conversations with her making up what she's telling us. Gosh she's smart!
Baizley is now grabbing and holding toys and rattles. She loves her play mats. Just this week Baizley has started putting everything she grabs right into her mouth. It's actually entertaining. And if there is no toy around, she is more than happy to shove a whole fist into her mouth. And so exciting, today, Baizley rolled over from her stomach to her back!
Enjoy all the pictures below and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My first St. Patrick's Day. Be green!

Snug as a bug in a rug, I mean baby in a bear suit.

Loving those sub-zero mornings!

Eyes fixed on the boob tube. We've created a TV-loving monster.
(at least some of it was watching the Olympics)

Look Ma, I'm standing!

Josiah holding Miss Baizley for the first time. He's got to remember how to do this. Only two short months until there is another Baby Middaugh running around.

Happy Birthday Daddy! I love all your presents!

Daddy's birthday rocks, I get presents too.

Righteous dude.

Yummy fist!
Do you love how high the jeans are?
Can a three month old really wear "mom jeans?"

This is my serious face.

So is that my hand holding this thing? How did I do that?

Hey there! I love to play!

First time in the Bumbo, not so sure we love it just yet.

Horsey time on daddy's knee always cheers me up!

Baizley is the next American Idol!!
She loves singing into her microphone.

Baizley and Mommy taking a much needed nap on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Do you think I can fit two toys in my mouth at the same time?

Loving the Bumbo!

Alright, I'm doing my darn tummy time, now let me get onto my back already!

Having a great time with Queenie and Papa Den

We all really enjoyed our long weekend with Queenie and Papa Den. Everyone got to ski (thanks for babysitting Aunt Kelly) and enjoyed "ooo-ing" and "ah-ing" over Sweet Baizley. Queenie spent an afternoon organizing Baizley's wardrobe, which needed it! Papa Den couldn't get enough of the new fallen snow.

Chillin' in her crib. Eventually Baizley did take a nap.

Oh how I LOVE my swing!!

Baizley's new Raggedy Ann doll, handmade by Mrs. Bogle.

Baizley napping with Papa Den.

Tummy time, not too much head lifting going on just yet.

First time to Mommy's favorite restaurant, Ti Amo.
This is Baizley's Elvis face, by the way.

Aunt Kelly, Baizley and Papa Den waiting for our appetizers to come.

Check out the boots. Thanks Grandma!

Hanging out in my new house.

Just so cute...

A week of firsts

It was a week of firsts for Miss Baizley. We're still having a great time. Baizley can't stop talking. She has conversations with her Mommy and Daddy. It's so darn cute. We also cannot get enough of those adorable smiles. Daddy can get Baizley to smile so easily--it's fabulous.

Baizley napped in her crib for the first time on Friday and earlier this week, Baizley slept a night in her crib for the first time. (unfortunately not for more than 4 hours)

So peaceful...

Baizley celebrated her first Valentine's Day. (not that exciting, she wore a bib and some heart pants)

Baizley went on her first road trip. We spent the day up in Steamboat Springs to visit with Brande and Sydney.
Brande entertaining Miss Baizley (convincing her to become a figure skater).

On our drive up to Steamboat Baizley saw her first golden eagles.

On our drive back home Baizley saw her first elk and deer (and the golden eagles again). It was quite a wildlife adventure.

On Tuesday Baizley hosted her first dinner party. Baizley's friend Addison and her parents Amy and Michael came over for a fish fry. Jared cooked a delicious meal and Baizley slept the whole time--Martha Stewart would not have been proud of Baizley's hosting skills.
The daddies hanging out with their babies feeding the girls dinner.

Baizley and Addison.
Addy was so adorable moving all around on the play mat.
Baizley just woke up--not the party animal.

I just love playing on the floor with my daddy. So happy!

Baizley's two months old! (and healthy)

So, after eight weeks, it kind of sounds silly to keep counting weeks, so this Wednesday Baizley was officially two months old and we'll leave it at that until three months.

We had our two month wellness visit with the pediatrician on Monday. Baizley is doing great! No signs of the RSV, she is over that hurdle much faster than anyone expected. Usually that vicious cough lasts 5 or 6 weeks, hers is gone! Baizley, our little chunk, is 10 pounds, 10 ounces and 23 inches tall--the picture of health. She did have to get her first vaccinations, it was pretty terrible (for mom and dad!)

Chillin' in her froggie outfit with her froggie friend.
Can you say s t r e t c h e d out???

So this is Baizley's first piece of hunting equipment. Dzia Dzia sent
Baizley a PERSONALIZED duck call. Quack, Quack!

Not sure how Baizley feels about the sunglasses that
Queenie sent, but I love them!

The other day we went out to a belated birthday lunch with Aunt Kelly.
Baizley is so excited with Aunt Kelly's news that Baizley is going to have a
new cousin to play with in August!!!

We are all looking forward to a visit from Queenie and Papa Den next week. We can't wait and neither can they.

New house update: Last Thursday we signed the contract for our new house in Vail. We've picked out appliances and countertops. All very exciting!! Please spread the word that we have two wonderful properties to offer at bargain basement prices (for Vail at least).
